A note to our supporters

As we continue preparing for Trivia Night we wanted to share a very important update with all our generous supporters.  In the best interest for those we will be serving in Burkina Faso, we have decided to postpone the trip until August 2014.  All of the money raised will be donated to the people of Burkina Faso during our visit this August.  The trip has been a very ambitious undertaking - not only with fundraising but also with the variety and magnitude of service projects we have planed.  We are very excited to continue to plan these projects and fundraisers over the course of the next year.  We look forward to sharing our journey with you and working together to provide the best possible service to those in need.

Trivia Night!

As part of our fundraising efforts, the UW - W Student Optimist Club is hosting a Trivia Night fundraiser. This Old Main Ballroom, at the James R. Connor University Center at UW-Whitewater. The evening will consist of ten rounds of trivia, ten questions each, on a wide-range of topics. In each round, the questions will be read aloud, after which teams will be given five minutes to work together to figure out the answers. At the end of each round, answer sheets will be collected and tabulated. The top three teams with the most answers correct at the end of the night will receive a cash prize. Also at the event will be a silent auction, with a wide range of items donated by local businesses and dedicated community members.

Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00pm in the Old Main Ballroom in the James R. Connor University Center at UW-Whitewater.

The cost to attend is $80 per team, with an eight person per team maximum.
